Promise Uzoma Okoro is a Ngerian Blogger born on the 15th Day of April 1991 into the Families of Mr and Mrs Okoro Chukwu of Umuachiki Amaokwelu Alay in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State.
The Birth of Promise Uzoma Okoro was generaly seen by Family members as a Divine Plan of God to savage his Mother Mrs Oyidiya Okoro who had gone through severe Trauma in the hands of the Wicked Enemies who almost succeeded in making her Insane forever.
In 1996, Promise Uzoma Okoro was enrolled by his Mother into Alayi Central School Alayi in Bende Local Government Area were he perform excellently from Nursery to Primary 3.
his brither performance in His academical pursuit attracted Teacher and Friends around Him like the proverbial golden stone that can never be hidden form the sun rays of time.
In His Primary school, he was elevated by the management of the school to the position of Flag-bearer which made him to be a Middle man between the Headmistress of the school and the Pupils' After completing his Primary Education with a First School Leaving Certificate, Promise was again in 2003 enroled into Alayi Secondary Commercial School Alayi in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State were he continued to showcase the qualities of Intelligency in Him.
In December 2005,Promise Uzoma Okoro who had went into Kerosene Bussiness had no option than to follow his Sister to the City . Promise was taken by his Sister to Ahoada in Rivers State in January 2006 were he was Introduced into Hawking petty Goods like Satchet Water,Bread,Orange,Plantain,Nylon Bags in the bid to help his back ground . Through out his Secondary career in Rivers State, He was not allowed by his Sister to attend classes on market days their in Ahoada Rivers State as he was expected to hawk out money for that Day.
Despite not attending classes on Market Days, his School, Western Ahoada County High School Ahoada made him the President of the School Debate Team because of his Oratorical Skills which paved way for him to serve the School as the First Non-Indegent Librabry Prefect in 2008/2009 academic Session. After finding out that his Sister had concluded that he wont be registered to seat for the West African Senior Secondary School Examination, Promise asked the Sister to send hm back to the Villiage,which after much pleadings, he was finally taken back to the Village. Every Mother in the Villiage is praying for her Children to leave the Village to the City,Promise Uzoma Okoro’s mother was not left out as the Mother Mrs Oyidiya Okoro busted into tears when he saw her son returning back to the Villiage,but little did she know that,God was about Introducing her Son to the new version of his old history. After spending only two Days in the Village,Promise Uzoma Okoro travelled back to Ahoada in Rivers State after getting Transportation fare from his Aunty, a Custard Producer based in Aba, Abia State. On arrival at Ahoada,Promise Uzoma Okoro apparently got confused of what to do and where to go, He bursted into tears over what Fate that await him since he had no one to accommodate and take care of him,but while he was still weeping,God through one of his Classmate in the Secondary school introduced him to a Staff of Ahoada East Local Government Area who gave him a Room in the quarters allocated to him by the Local Government Authorities. That was the beginning of Promise Uzoma Okoro’s sojourn to Bachelorhood as he stood the challenge of feeding and taken care of other needs for himself. In December 2009,Promise Uzoma Okoro penned his First Motivational Book Titled A KNOCK DOWN IS NOT A KNOCK OUT ,according to him the book came from the inspiration God gave him that the down fall of a man is never the end of his Life. Again in 2011,Promise Uzoma Okoro released another book with the Title YOU ARE BORN WITH A VISION,at the beginning of the Release of the books,many people thought he was merely joking,but few months later,the proceeds gotten during the Launching of the Books paved way for his University Admission expenses.
Promise Uzoma Okoro got Admission to Study Mass Communication at the Rivers State University of Science and Technology Portharcourt,Rivers State Just after spending one Year at the University,a great challenge came,this time it was the plot by the enemies to kill Promise Uzoma Okoro who after seeing and hearing the good news around him. Promise stood, faced, battled and defeated the challenge,despite the fact that Close Families and Friends gave up on him during his trial times as people went in town with the News that the Worst has Happened. In 2014,Promise Uzoma Okoro ventured into blogging and writing specifically on the Political Developments in Nigeria,he tried many Platforms until PUO REPORTS a name he carved out from his initial P =Promise U=Uzoma O=Okoro finally introduced him to many Powerful Individuals in Nigeria Promise Uzoma Okoro referred to as PUO is a youth with inspired history and challenges which where made a history today when looking at him from all the angles of life. he is a dogged youth who never ventured into the lucrative business of sycophancy which is being exhibited by youths of nowadays.
we all will celebrate this seldom Gift of Nature to humanity as he clocks 25 years here on earth . its a life worth celebrating no matter how small, its a life full of inspiration.
